The device itself is nice, looks cool, controls the device as needed. The most important function it has been purchased for is missing. The application doesn't have any scheduler. I'd expect the application could be configured to automatically start/stop units at specific times during the week. Just like programmable thermostats do.
UPDATE: There is actually a programming function to Start/Stop the unit at some specific time, the only issue is I cannot configure the temperature to change automatically during the day, i.e. I want in my bedroom to be 64F all night, but then 70F at 6 AM, and then back to 68F from 8 AM till 10 PM. The issue can be solved by having multiple units though. Which would be a bit … redundant.
Very nice little wifi remote at an affordable price. Setup was very easy and immediately worked with a mini split brand which was not listed. There are 3 ways to configure a/c coses and the last one worked perfectly for me. Wifi configuration was a breeze (less than a minute). Just make sure to wait until the wifi logo flashes RAPIDLY! Tbe only drawback is that only works with kne a/c unit at a time. But at that price you can afford to have a few of them. No Alexa or Google connectivity it appears. That eoukd have bring my rating to 6 stars!
I have Fujitsu mini splits and i just recieved this in the mail. Setup was EASY, it works and its cheap! I will update if things change. I will be buying 5 more!
This remote is excellent. I had a little trouble setting it up at first because it worked but when I tried to turn off the A.C. it would remain on. I kept trying until I figured I had to go through manual programming for my Carrier A.C. and then when I found the correct code that worked perfectly. The Wi-Fi capability is amazing, albeit with a little 1s delay. I really recommend this remote!
