I was expecting a larger unit so I didn't think this was going to work very well for my small bedroom. I added the water and no ice cube and left it running while I did dinner and watched tv. When I went back to my bedroom, the whole room was cool! I added an ice cube and more water and went to bed. This morning I was actually cold. This is going to be a god send during this summer with the 90 degree days and my out of pocket for my light bill. It doesn't take up a lot of room but it def cools a small room nicely.
Cooler than a fan, warmer than an actual AC unit. Makes a miserable desk slightly less miserable. Water fill lasts about 5 hours on high.
At first I was really mad because it drips a ton of water. Then I read all of the directions and realized there’s a little drip tray that I needed to pull out. Now I love it! Inexpensive considering how great it is. Tiny, powerful, and easy to use (if you read all of the directions).
The fan blows really nice. I have this on my nightstand to cool me off at night and also to spread essential oils in my room. The power of the fan is pretty good and it is not too loud. My only complaint is trying to empty the water when transporting, which very difficult since the door does not open that far but an inch. Overall, a great fan to put on a desk of by a bed.
Love this little portable air conditioner! It's not huge, and probably won't cool down an entire room, but it is great for personal use. It is perfect for when a fan is not good enough, because it is just circulating warm air. With this unit, you can add water and/or ice to the reservoir in the back, and it will blow a nice cooling mist out. There's even a little area to catch the condensation! How cute!

Let me start out with saying that this is the best thing I've ever bought!!! I knew this thing would work after reading both good and bad reviews and to those bad reviews... why??? Within an hour my room dropped in temperature by 5° and that's not with my other fans on!!! Added water and about 3 to 4 pieces of ice and man does it get cold!!! I also bought a 6pack of essential oils as well and the smells coming out with the misting feature are amazing!!! It's a small desktop a.c. cooler, not a full blown a.c. unit lol read the description before you buy so you don't post a bad review for this thing being as small as it is... the ones youenwanting are between $200-500 maybe more... I know cause I was looking at those too and until I can afford one, this will work just fine for now.
I bought this device expecting a slightly bigger fan - when i got it, i was disappointed at the size.
I debated returning it but decided to give it a go, and was very surprised. This won't work for large rooms but in my dorm room, this portable fan packs a cool punch. I also took it with me traveling to Europe, and it was nice to have something so portable with me.
If you're looking to cool a small room or to have a room fan while traveling, I would recommend.
This AC is super small but works really well to help you cool down, I have it on my desk right in front of me while working and it really makes a difference. It has a little area in back to add water, 3 air speeds and a fan or cooling mode. If you have the cooling mode on make sure to open the water catcher so the water doesnt drip down and the AC can continue to run.

I got this fan to cool off my desk area at work. I work in a small office next to a warehouse in Phoenix AZ. It can get hot due to the warehouse. It is able to keep me cool while sitting at my desk. It will not cool a room down. This more of a people cooler not a room cooler.
It does build up water on the shutters but there is a trap below you can open that will catch any drops.
I am really liking this fan. Works well for my purpose.
Ordering the unit I was skeptical, but once I opened up I was blown away. Its just the right size to be used in the workplace. The mist feature is awesome and makes a huge difference, but even without it on the fan is really nice. Also make a small boxfan noise which is also soothing.
