Fantastic deal for what you get. I liked the packaging, the design and the value. I also liked how they included all the little parts that are needed to get it up and running. Things to be aware of include:
The outside unit has a 12" clearance requirement from the fan to an obstruction, so technically it cannot mount on the hanging brackets available on Amazon, since they give about 7" of clearance.

There are 2 extra ports on the outside unit if you add more indoor heads later
Indoor cassettes: MAKE SURE you have enough room between the ceiling joists/bottom chord of your truss. Specs say it will fit between 22.5" space, but there is a thin foam wrap around the cassettes which make it REALLY TIGHT. If you have the option, make your opening 22.75" square.

Another big deal is getting the elevation correct above the ceiling. The instructions don't tell you in the text. There is a blurry drawing with dimensions you can't read, but we mounted it too low and had to go back up in the attic after 16" of insulation was blown in to raise it 1".

By the time we went to mount the grilles indoors, we couldn't find the screws needed. After an email exchange with the seller, who referred us to an install PDF (which did not apply to our model) we found that you need 4 6mm x 1mm screws per grille.

Finally, the remotes that come with this unit are generic, and nowhere in the instructions we got did it tell how to switch from C to F. A Google search revealed that you have to turn off the remote and hold the mode and '-' button at the same time to change the display.

Please Note: Mini Split Systems must be installed by a licensed Contractor with an EPA Refrigerant Certification to qualify for warranty.

While installation of a ductless split is much easier than a central air system, it's still much more advanced than installing a window unit or portable. Furthermore, the manufacturer warranty is only valid if a licensed professional does the installation. So while it is possible to do the installation yourself, we strongly recommend you hire an HVAC professional in your area.

It comes fully backed by a manufacturer's warranty and ComfortUp is an authorized online seller of these systems. Our Customer Care Team will provide assistance should you ever need to file a warranty claim with the manufacturer. Please be aware that only systems that are installed by a licensed HVAC contractor are backed by the warranty. Proof of licensed installation is required. The receipt/invoice from your contractor should be sufficient.
