Software is not perfect yet (sometimes fails to send a manual command - but it does let you know that the command failed and scheduled (Timer) commands seem to work consistently) but it does seem to get better with each new software version/update. It is still far better than all the other IR/WiFi solutions I have seen (Tado, Sensibo, Remotec, etc). I would recommend that the manufacturer add two major features: #1) You should have the ability on the timers to select weekdays and weekends (as opposed to just repeat daily/weekly/monthly). #2) IFTTT support would be very helpful and would allow integration with other home automation systems (consumers who are likely to buy this sort of product probably have other home automation systems and care about interoperability).
I recently installed a Mitsubishi Mini Split in my garage in PHX, AZ. Our electric company raises the rates to nearly 8x higher between 3-6PM. I wanted a way to schedule my AC to be off during those hours and not have to program the remote EVERY DAY to do that. This was the answer! The device is about 30' away mounted to a wall with the IR eyeball facing the AC unit. It was easy to set up in about 5 min. When you send commands through the app it uses your home wifi to transfer the command to the box and blast it via the IR eyeball to the AC unit. Genius! When I couldn't understand how to calibrate the temp on the app the customer support guys emailed me back within an hour. 3 emails sent to them with nearly immediate responses. That was amazing and helped me understand what I needed to do and got it all going perfectly. It's been in for almost a month and it is performing flawlessly!
I really wanted to like this product , after 5 hours of tinkering with this i was about to give up then I switched to an IOS setup from an Android - I was stuck in my android setup with a connected wifi but no internet. I have managed to get almost all of the way through an IOS setup Except that the system balked at entering an ID for my Home Mini Split . SO i started again except the device now seemed to have a mind of its own - SO started again (reset Router to B G mode , uninstalled app reinstalled app , powered off device waited 5 minutes re-powered on device. Got all the way to connecting (to manufacturers site) , nope that failed asks for a WPS pair up and that failed.. So unloaded all software reset all hardware and start again This is the last try , so far so good I got all the way through and manged to turn off my heat pump. Getting any of the icons to work on the screen is the next challenge Ok so now I can switch my unit off now testing the switching on function - now works just fine. Setting temperatures works just fine getting better by the minute. Missing feature Vertical vane control which directs the airflow across the room. The timer function is a line by line ( set on time a temp) then repeat by day week year This switched the system on I assume that a new line item describing an off time and emo is needed.ok so fall is here and I want to set am and pm timers up,easy enough I assume that they are in fact temperature set at the head end I'll need to recalibrate the offset for fall .Not a fault of the unit , but the head unit seems to have a mind of its own responding to commands when it feels like it
Once connected, this is an awesome remote controller. However, it can be tricky to connect. The version I got for US - I have GREE mini-splits - will only pair via 2.4 wifi...NOT 5.0. I bought two units - the first took one or two attempts and has worked perfectly. The second would not pair no matter what - I was close to the wifi router, I reset the unit. I reset my router. Email support was of no help. I gave up and was going to return the second one, but I had dumped the packaging, so I procrastinated. Last week I tried again and the connection was spinning spinning and finally errored out. Rather than going back through new set up again, I just clicked "Connect" again and miraculously, it paired. Works great as a remote on/off/temp control and I am thrilled. The only quirky thing is when I make a remote command, it flips my temp gauge on the GREE unit to Celcius, even though the AirPatrol shows Farenheit. I can change it back with the Gree remote only. And P.S. I also have the GREE installed Wifi remote controllers on these units and I CANNOT get those to pair and work properly at all, so AirPatrol is a HUGE improvement.
Very easy to use. I had some trouble on the initial set up, but that was my error. Instead of having to buy an expensive thermostat and get an electrician to set it up, this was the cheaper and more practical solution for my wall unit. I have a msz-GL09A mitisubshi unit and it works great with it. I would recommend this product.

Worked as expected with my Mitsubishi split type inverter. The reason why I gave it 4 stars is that I had a hard time doing the initial set up from my IPhone app. Turns out that this will only work on a WIFI that's 2.5ghz instead of 5.0ghz. Wish I knew this sooner.
Works great with my Mitsubishi MSY-24GENA split unit. EZ to setup, make sure your in the 'COOL" mode and not in "AUTO" mode when you turn on your AC unit with your phone. If not it will seem that your AirPatrol is not talking to your split unit. This device is the "BOMB'!!!!
After finally getting the units to pair, they work great. Customer support was good, but due to time differences, it took a few days. The only way to contact support is by email. Since they are 6 hours ahead of the US Eastern time zone, I didn't get responses until the next day. Eventually, they called me and resolved the issue. They work very well and I would reccomend them.
Excellent product with its features. Worked as advertised. Initially I was not able to operate my Sankey Brand AC to show Fahrenheit (the Controller was sending out a Celsius code) but after contacting support, I was able to search all the codes and found other brands that worked well with all functions matching my brand. I am totally satisfied with my purchase.
Bought four, one for each mini split in my vacation house 2,000 miles away. They work great and allows a cost effective means to manage humidity, preventing mold in my beach house.
