I bought this about a year ago when it first came out and though hesitant at first, I have never regretted it.
There was only one issue that I will mention that was and still is completely manageable. The AC does work like most AC's where you attach it to the window. For that reason, you connect a simple vent connected by a tube to your window, while connected to divider that will keep your window sealed, so the cool air does not escape. The issue is that not all windows are built to the same length, and for basic windows in NY, the size is not right for this divider. There is an extender for wider windows, and with it connected, it is too long, and without it, it is too short. There is no middle ground. Yes, it slides, but longer, not shorter.
The issue is fixed with a square piece of cardboard, easily obtainable, easily cut to size, and then tapped to the gap. Done.
The positive aspects are great. In a single room, it takes about 30 seconds to cool, and a few minutes for it to be cold. An apartment is comfortable after about 10 minutes and I imagine more results vary depending on and settings.
It can be set to be on for a specific amount of time, in increments of hours, and wifi allows your to turn it on from work or on the run, before you get home. It can be an AC, a fan, or heater, and all the other functions on the side of the box.
There is another issue I forgot to mention, but is just standard maintenance. After awhile, based on use, the water tank will fill and shut off the AC. It must then be drained with either the hose in the box but unless outside, that can be an issue. I just lift it and allow it to drain in the bathtub, I'm sure other people can find easier or options specific to their circumstances.
(Edited version) With the summer in full effect, the water tank fills to often now. I wish this wasn't as a big issue to edit my review, and drop is a star, but it is. With the difficulty of bringing it to a suitable place to drain properly, after work, or before bed, the AC will turn off and ill have to empty it and leave it on fan mode for a couple of hours, as recommend in the manual. But that isn't a solution that proves to work. More often, in three or four hours, the AC is filled with water, and needs to be emptied again. Even if I felt the hose was a viable option, there is no guarantee, that it would be that much of a difference, as I would still need to empty the tank more than three times a day. Sometimes, I just leave it off now because of the hassle.
The unit is fully rectangular in shape, no odd curves, so very easy to place. The window installation was an absolute breeze. I really like their system! Weight is very manageable, but be aware of something...you do not have to lift this unit fully out through the top of the box (I didn't realize this until afterwards). Just cut the packing straps, open the top of the box and retrieve the window vent kit, then lift the box from around the unit (this will make since when you see this). I am using this unit in a small office in my home that gets a lot of direct sunlight (in GA heat) and never seems to be quite cool enough, now this room is very comfortable to work in and i can re-purpose the two other fans I was originally using.
I had this unit up and running within 5 minutes, maybe another couple minutes for the app install, and integration into the Alexa network. It cools very well for a unit this size, and I am looking forward to using the heating aspect in my office during the winter time.
As many reviews on here I ordered this as a deal of the day when it had no reviews. It got lost in transit and took a week longer to arrive than expected. I had seen som of the reviews saying it wasn’t putting out any cold air which had me very nervous. When it finally arrived today like many of the negative reviews the side panels don’t seem to be installed properly. I set it up on the main floor which is an open concept living room and kitchen. I could tell it was putting out cold air so I got a thermometer which read 85 degrees before I got the unit running. I set the the thermometer right in the air flow and it quickly dropped to 62 degrees assuring me it was functioning. I then set it up in my bedroom which was close to 90 degrees. Since the unit has been running for several hours the room is at a much more comfortable 70ish degrees. This seems to be performing perfectly to cool my bedroom. It doesn’t get the 5 stars because of the side panel and filter covers that don’t seem very secure.
As for the shipping issue, that was completely UPS’ fault and not a reflection on Amazon or the manufacturer.
Unpacked it a few days ago. Hooked right up, easy install, the wifi app enabled feature works great. You can access all of the features from your smartphone or tablet. It works from across the room or from the car on the way home, providing your unit is connected to wifi and the wifi is always on. As far as being an air conditioning unit, it's great. It gets super cold and has lots of features. Well made, however the packaging sucked and our exhaust vent arrived cracked. Overall, we are extremely impressed. Great value.
Got this on Amazon Flash Deal, so couldn't beat the price per BTU. Arrived quickly so I was hoping it would be in good shape. The product was in surprisingly good shape considering the CRAPPY packaging job... The package was actually completely OPEN by the time I received it - I could reach in and grab the owner's manual. Luckily according to the manual, everything was still in there. I set it up and tested it and it was putting out 48 deg F. Seems mechanically sound. I really wish it had better packaging as I keep it in the garage as an emergency spare (I have really bad central air that konks out regularly, and also want a portable that my small generator can handle after a hurricane) I ended up gluing parts of the foam and box back together to help make it suitable to store.
PROS: Solid machine, lots of cold air - as rated. Great price especially on the Flash Deal. Fast delivery (got it within 3 days.)
CONS: No way to direct the air flow, it just blows up and to the sides and the vents are either fully open or fully closed. Pathetic packaging.

Product shipped overnight and arrived looking like it spent six months on a boat getting kicked around. The box was missing chunks and the ductwork was completely shattered but fortunately that was the extent of the damage. I tried to get the app to work but my phone wouldn't pair with the machine. Not a big deal for me but wanted to advise anyway. I'm trying to cool an area of about 750 sq. ft. and this machine is doing a pretty good job so far. It ran for almost 24 hours on high to get control of the room temp and then started to cycle once it hit the desired temp. Temps were in the mid 90s today so it didn't have an easy task. Overall I'm happy with the product performance so far but Amazon owes we a tube of epoxy for all the repairs I had to make!
My husband is remodeling our vintage tin can camper and was having trouble working on it in the Texas heat. Highs have been above 100 for most of July and he could not get much done during daylight. This great little AC saved the day!
In looking for a small AC, we wanted something that was small, on which we could adjust the temperature and air flow, and I really wanted the option to also use it as a heater. I wanted to be able to use this in out tiny little camper, but also in our home or future home in case we moved to a state where homes typically did not have Central HVAC systems.
Although I haven't used the Rollicool in our home, it has worked great in our camper. The logistics of it are frustrating because (even though it's small as a portable AC) it's a big object we're trying to fit into a tiny space. The outlet hose is also large so while we're venting it through an open jalousie window, we cannot keep the bug screen on that window and are hoping to find a better option.
We did have a problem with the AC for a couple of days before it acclimated to the environment and started working. If the compressor is kicking off, just turn it on and let it sit for a day or two and it should start cooling.
Bought this for the hot summer days in LA and it kept a 12x15 living room nice and cool. I try not to move it too often but noticed after moving it into my office that the bottom would leak a little. Checked and everything looked tight so maybe it was just condensation?? Also kind of bummed because the oscillator for the fan broke somehow. I'm wondering if my unit was used or refurbished because I also noticed that the side panel is not attached to anything and kind of flaps a little.
Aside from all the above mentioned, it is a pretty solid AC unit. We have this on all the time and it makes a hot day so much more bearable. Nice cold air and works great with Alexa. Easy pairing and easy set up in general.
Just took delivery of this beautiful Rollibot Rollicool 100H 14,000 btu portable ac and it is a great unit on many levels. I operate an airbnb and need remote control via their internet app which works well AND it has Alexa voice control which makes it very easy for guests to turn it on and off and adjust temps with their voice. I did a lot of research and Rollibot is one of the few companies to offer both a wifi app to remotely monitor the ac, as well as Alexa voice control. I'm a skeptic when it comes to btu cooling ratings, this model is 14,000 btu, but I can verify during a summer heat wave here in NYC with 92 degree temps and high humidity, this unit successfully cooled a 220 sq ft room with 12 foot ceilings. To keep the heat out, we also installed dark wooden blinds over two very large windows in this br. The Rollicool is very simple to install, but you MUST secure the vent hose to the window mount with an adequate nut and bolt, I used 8/32" size and drilled out the mounting post on the flange. The motor is powerful and really puts out a blast of frigid air. This is a well engineered, top of the line product, you won't be disappointed either with the unit or its attendant iPhone and Android app and its Alexa smooth functionality. Good job, Rollibot!
Pretty decent unit. There is lots of room for improvement though.
Couple of things that I wish this unit had:
-Accurately detect room temperature so I didn't have to worry about manually turning off the AC unit once it hits the desired temperature. At the moment, the room might be at 76F but the mobile app shows that it's 94F (I've two units and both do the same thing). I ended up having to use a room thermometer to manually turn on/off the AC.
-Google Home support
-Ability to schedule when to turn off/on the device, not just being able to set a timer to toggle on/off.
