LG's flex, multi-split systems operate up to 8 interior units which are each mounted in a separate room. Each indoor unit has its own remote control, so each room can be set to different temperatures. The individual units are connected to a single exterior unit. The Multi-F / Flex Systems are not only cost and energy efficient, they are also able to offer comfort year round with enhanced cooling and heating ranges. This system can be used as a primary heat source in most of the country. It is capable of heating when outdoor temperatures are as cold as -4°F. With the addition of the optional drain pan heater, the heating performance and range can be enhanced. If there is a need to keep your space cool, the cooling capabilities are great on this system as well.
