I purchased this 9 inch USB or rechargeable 18650 li-ion battery powered 2 speed fan for the purpose of camping or taking it on my wildland fire deployments. When it is warm it makes it very hard for me to sleep at night, I think this fan on the low setting is exactly what I need in my tent to help me get to sleep. I have to say I am very impressed with this little fan so far for these reasons: The 18650 Batteries it came with charge in about 7 hours and runs for about 11 hours when it is on the low speed setting, it also runs for a little over 6 hours on the high speed setting. It is so quiet that I can barely hear it running on the high speed. If you run it from an external battery bank it only draws about 250ma on low and 500ma on high so depending on the capacity of your battery bank you can quickly figure out how long it will run for so if you had a 5000ma/hr battery bank you could expect about 10 hours on the high speed setting and about 20 hours on the low setting. While charging there is a little red LED on the back of the unit, that turns blue when the batteries are fully charged. The package contained the 9 inch fan, two 18650 li-ion rechargeable batteries, a USB cable that is about 3 feet long, and instructions. The fan fully rotates on the stand. I cannot think of anything else needed in a portable fan.
Where do I start... First it's light weight, cordless unless you are charging which takes a few hours, quiet and we used it allover the house. In the kitchen, living room and even our screened in porch. We lost power for a few hours one day and it was used for my pup to keep her cool. Charge lasts about 7 hours and it's super quiet. It's Fantastic ..pun intended.
I have a fan running 24/7 in my room. Previously, I was using a Black & Decker 9-inch, AC desk fan. However, the fan was very noisy, and used a lot of electricity, even on the lowest speed (35 watts -- $55 per year).
The COMLIFE 11 inch fan is much more energy efficient (4.5 watts -- $7 per year), because it uses DC power instead of AC power. Yes, the COMLIFE fan is slightly less powerful, but it is good enough. COMLIFE on high speed has the same blowing power as the Black & Decker on low speed. This is impressive, because COMLIFE saves $48 per year.
Secondly, the COMLIFE fan is about 2x quieter than the Black & Decker fan. The COMLIFE fan is loud enough to hear up close, but is not noticeable from across the room.
If you are looking for a small fan to run 24/7, the COMLIFE fan is perfect. I hope it lasts for a long time.
NOTE: Make sure you use a good USB power supply for this fan, for maximum performance. When I used a cheap 5W USB charger, the fan could not run on maximum speed. However, when I used a 12W charger, it had no trouble.
NOTE 2: Wattage was measured by my Kill a Watt electricity meter.
Love this little fan the air is actually cool due to the metal .. fyi to charge the batteries plug in the usb but with the fan off and when the red light turns blue the batters are charged ❤️

This Comlife fan is powerful enough to keep you cool and the air circulating. I was somewhat skeptical if a battery powered fan but needed the portability of one. I took a chance, and I'm glad I did. The fan has a metal body and transparent plastic blades. The cover removes for easy cleaning, just pop it in the dishwasher! It's so quiet it won't disturb your work when used on the desktop.
It has two speeds, both run well. The fan will operate 2-4 hours on battery power depending on the fan speed. You can plug it in with the USB power cable (included) and the batteries are bypassed (won't over-charge). I like that I can charge it ANYWHERE that I can charge my cell phone. It's also well balanced with soft plastic 'feet' on the bottom to keep vibrations to a minimum and it swivels a full 360 degrees and stays at the angle you put it. The cord is 3 feet.
I planned to use this in my bathroom on hot days when I'm getting ready for work but I can see this will work anywhere I need the extra ventilation. Paint fumes? Bleach? Bah, do away with the danger by circulating the fumes away with this go-anywhere jewel. Comlife has another great product.
I really like this fan is very small easy to carry along with you you do not need a plug its airflow everywhere you go
This fan is perfect for a small area. I need a fan to place in our camper near our bed for circulation that can run on batteries. We might be camping in areas where there isn't electricity. It only last about 3 hrs. after being charged. Haven't tried it on a power pack yet I'm hoping this will work too. Before we leave I've been testing it hooked up with the enclosed USB cord next to my PC. Perfect for this use. It does put out more air flow than I thought it would. Happy I purchased it we'll see how well it works in the near future it
I have been very ill with a condition that makes my skin so hot you can fry an egg on it. These fans are lifesavers. I use them with the cord and by the batteries where I have no outlet in my home. I take them out in public so I can regain some of my life back. People only stare for a minute, then tell me they want one. Whether it's power outages, worsening outside higher temperatures, these fans are worth their weight in gold. Don't hesitate to buy several. They are efficient and inexpensive. Company stands by their product and fixed an issue I had with one fan quickly and went out of their way so that I had no stress on me what so ever!
I absolutely love this Comlife USB Desk Fan. Since it's cordless with rechargeable batteries, it's very easy to take it with me where I need it in the house. I use it a lot in my kitchen while sitting on my stool (I'm disabled) preparing meals esp. if the oven is on. Today I took it in the laundry room to fold clothes. It's super powerful with 2 speeds. Comes with a USB cord to easily plug into your laptop, Ipad or just into the wall with a USB wall socket. Also, with power outages, hurricanes and storms we have here in Florida, it will come in handy to keep me cool when the power is out.
