I ordered 3 of these for a 4-zone mini split installation and have been very happy with them during the installation. The "easy pull" insulation covering does help the piping slide through holes in the wall, etc without excessive snagging. I used two full runs for two zones and then cut the third line set to make the third and fourth zones. No flare nuts were included, but those are usually supplied with the minisplit system.

Great line sets, flare perfectly and easily with normal hand flare tools. I much prefer this closed cell insulation, doesn’t absorb condensation water, pulls easily with the durable textured cover. Perhaps not as effective insulation as the black stuff when dry, but wins out in my book for durability. UV resistance, time will tell, I’m guessing not but will cover them anyway so who cares. As clearly stated no fittings, but your mini split unit probably includes them, or just $4-5 each right here on Amazon. Even if you have to buy them price still unbeatable. I ordered both 1/2 and 3/8 sets and although only one was prime, both still arrived in 2 days. You may or may not like both lines being joined together, I prefer them this way, but would be a royal pain to cut the insulation apart for any distance if you needed to for some reason.
I used these to install three ductless mini splits and this was the first time I used these types of pipes. I don’t have much to compare them to but they worked really well.
