This product works great! I had to finally get rid of my old one and gave this one a chance. Not only is it 10x more quiet than my previous one, but it works 10x better. More humidity has led to potentially more home damage in the summer months for some parts of my apartment and this baby has protected us like no other. We wouldn't even know this thing was on. No sound at all! Wow. Not to mention this cleaned up all the old mold in the corners of my bathroom. This pulls a LOT of moisture out of the air. You get your bang for your buck.

I bought both sizes of Pure Enrichment Dehumidifiers. The small one for my closet, and this mid-sized one for my bathroom.
For some strange reason, my house was designed with no fans in the bathrooms. So, whenever you took a shower, you had to be really careful to open both the door and window afterwards to let the moisture escape. When I moved in, it looked apparent that whoever lived here before, probably forgot to do this more than once; you could see that certain parts of the walls and ceiling had been opened up, most likely to fix the damage. Also, my shower had what looked like black mold coming out of it.
Anyways, getting past describing my gross sounding bathroom situation. I decided to get a dehumidifier to fix this problem. I put this little guy in the bathroom and let it go to work. The amount of moisture it pulled at first didn't quite seem like it was as much as I would expect. It definitely seemed better than without it being in there at all, but I noticed that the small one in the closer was pulling noticeably more. My bathroom was definitely more moist on a regular basis in comparison to the closet. I guess you could say, that I was less so happy with this mid-sized model than I was with the smaller one, but I figured that maybe I received a defect, so I contacted the company.
I explained what I had noticed in an email to the company and asked what they could do for me. I was promptly answered, and a new unit was shipped out to me right away. I didn't have to pay to ship the old one back, so it was not a hassle what so ever.
Moving on, my new unit works perfectly. My bathrooms are completely dry even if i use it on the low setting. I sometimes switch over to the high setting to speed up the process. Both settings are extremely quite and the dehumidifier does not give off an excessive amount of heat. I have used much larger dehumidifiers in the past, and have noticed that they draw ALOT more power and will inadvertently act as a heater in smaller spaces (whether you want them to or not). Personally, I did not want my dehumidifier to act as a heater what so ever... I have central air, and that would just confuse the system's sensors.
Oh yea, one last thing I will mention. I was well out of the return window when I contacted the company about my unit's functionality. I'm pretty sure the original one I received was defective right off the bat, but it still worked to some degree, so I didn't rush to get it replaced. Eventually, I decided to monitor the difference in amounts of water the mid-sized one pulled in comparison to the small one in the closet, and that is when I finally contacted the company. So this was an actual warranty replacement, they didn't just send me a new one because amazon requires sellers to honor return windows.

Delivered on 9/20. Stopped working around 10/8. The machine runs but no longer collects anything in the water area-and yes-there is humidity in the room it is located in. Not happy. Already threw away box so I don’t think I can return.
Worked great the first couple weeks, now not working at all.

06/01/18-Wow. The company read their review I posted and sent me a brand new dehumidifier. Had to update to match this. Will stick with this company for future purchases. If a company cares this much about their reviews and customer feedback, then they’ve won a customer for life in me.
Been running it for a couple weeks in our basement in one of the bedrooms and it works great, its very quiet on low and around the same sound as a box fan on high. It doesn't heat up the room and it does work, albeit not at the pace some think it does. Note the description "500ml/day" so you really should only get this if your walls aren't sweating humidity as its not intended for that.
If you have reasonable expectations and want a small dehumidifier for a room or closet then then will work perfect for you, if you want to use it on a larger area or someplace with high humidity already, then you should look for something else.
I’ve tried several dehumidifiers in this size, smaller and a larger one. This by far has superseded every single one of it’s size and smaller. The company backs their 5 year warranty with ease. Mine quit working after having it over a year. I reached out to the company and provided evidence of the purchase ect. and they are shipping a replacement out to me. I have never ever worked with a company that backed its product so painlessly for its customer. I also have two air purifiers from this company and love them as well.

This item works great! I've been using it for over a month, and I've been very satisfied with the amount of water it collects. I live in an old home, and it's always had moisture and dampness problems. This has kept my bedroom dry, and I haven't had any more musty odors. I would say this size unit is perfect for a bedroom, or maybe even a room that is a little larger. Also, I've used other dehumidifiers before, and I always hated how I couldn't really get into the tank to clean it (they can get nasty looking). For this one, the lid completely comes off the tank, and I found that to be a huge plus for me.
I wasn't sure if I even needed a dehumidifier, but since I battle with allergies and I live in a very old apartment building, I was hoping to prevent mold and eliminate any musty odors. I've only had this product for almost 2 weeks, and so far this dehumidifier has been a god send! I use it at night in my bedroom, and sometimes I'll place it in the bathroom. I don't even live in a very humid location but when I wake up the water tray will be 1/3 of the way full, so it's obviously working. It helps to reduce any damp feeling out of any space and prevent dust mites, mildew, and other allergy triggers. I LOVE IT! On top of that the PureDry Deluxe Dehumidifier has a sleek look and it gives off a soft white noise which personally makes it almost easier to fall asleep at night. I recommend it!
I received my Pure dehumidifier about 3 days ago and I love it! I received it within two days and it has been running non-stop ever since.
I had a pinhole leak in my basement ceiling, slowly dripping probably for a few months, which I didn't notice until a week ago when I came home from vacation to a bad, moldy smell in my house and a bubble on my ceiling. The plumbing was fixed and I purchased this dehumidifier three days ago to get rid of the moldy smell and accumulated humidity in my basement the size of approx. 1200 square feet. I chose the mid-size dehumidifier per the recommendation on the product website.
It has been running for 48 hours non-stop and I'm happy to say that the moldy smell is all gone, and this compact machine has collected approx. 300ml of water already.
I'm very happy with this compact machine. It is powerful, yet easy to store and move around.
I purchased this dehumidifier to battle NYC's humid summer two years ago. Today, it's still running in my living room. You will see the machine collecting water as it happens, and cleanup is easy.
