Bought this based on other reviews to cover the installation of a Mitsubishi ductless heat pump for a bedroom. The delivery was prompt and there were plenty of parts to install a long down drop of the electrical, mechanical and water drain lines (using PVC) parts. Two halves have interlocking grooves. Install the back side to the wall and lay in the lines, then snap on the cover and screw on the connectors at the joints. Literally these things snap together and they hold well. When cutting to length , I used tin snips, but any its a relatively soft plastic and cut easily. I ordered the unit on line and hired a contractor to put the unit in, but I did the line cover kit myself as he ran the lines. The end result is very professional and clean looking. There were extra parts for a couple of 90 degree turns and additional runs an connectors. The contractor was so impressed with this product he said he'll use them for his next install. Its a great product for the money that will protect the installation from the sun and weather and make it look better too. I highly recommend this product. This is not a paid or other wise solicited review.
Looks super nice more parts left over then I used.
Had to do a minor adjustment, and two screw heads broke off. See attached pic. Ended up using a spare connector.
Also, the connection from inside to outside only provides an option for something coming out of a wall, but not from the side. (Basically the wide part has the opening, I really could have used one on the narrow part of the opening. Used the flex hose, instead for that piece.
I have seen otyher kuits go for allot more money than this one, and they are not built any better or more durable. I strongly recommend painting the lineset cover after installation if you live in a very sunny state like Arizona or Nevada - This will help protect the plastic cover from getting brittle in the sun and eventuially cracking.
I also had read from others complaining that the screws left rust marks, I replaced the screws that were provide with the same size from home Depot in Stainless Steel so I would not have that problem down the line....good insurance for about 6 dollars. Of course if you decide to paint over the screws, you probably can use the originals without a problem.
It is very easy to cut these parts to fit. The accordian bending piece is also useful. I ended up using it up top where the pipes come out of the wall, as my installer had a gradual loopy like bend. You can use heavy shears to slice a line through the bendy piece to slide it on. I then sliced and diced the other parts to cover the curves near the bottom connecting to the compressor.

This line set cover has exactly what is needed to cover just over 18' of line. The quality of the material is very good and time will tell how well it holds up. The flexible line is a real plus .
Really good quality and easy to assemble, just screw in before running line (especially the first part that comes out of house... the rest can be done later with only a little inconvience). They give you lots of turns and four 3-foot sections, so easily handles a 16 foot run since the ends of the run cannot be enclosed in any case...you need room to bend/connect them to the unit.
It does the job and makes the linesets look neat and tidy. Installation was pretty easy and was done after the unit had been up for a month or so. No more ugly lines dangling on the side of the house, makes for a professionally installed installation
Bought these to hide and protect mini split lines and seem to have done the trick nicely. Shipping was fast and installation went smoothly, seems like I received way more than I needed - it was about 15 feet long. Will edit post if there are any issues.
Good kit. Had to but two in order to cover my 16' of line set. Easier to install if you mount it before your run your line set but if you are clever and handy with tools you can make it work. I would buy it again if I had to.
