I got this because I read reviews about the bigger one and thought this would be similar, especially since my room is small.
It’s definitely cheaper than the bigger model, but it does not feel like it circulated the air in the room like the other model.
I like that it’s small and can move from standing to laying down, but it only has 1 intake side, so it’s more limiting than you would think.
Definitely a cool little fan, but I would probably buy a cheaper fan next time, OR try the bigger one and see if it circulates the air in the room without rotation.
Vornado has AMAZING fans! I have a tower in the living room, and two medium rounds in the bedroom. I got this mini tower for work. It sits perfectly on the corner of my desk and it is very sleek and stylish. And most importantly--it provides a great breeze on those warm days. The high really makes it cold, and I even use it on low when the temperature is right just to circulate the air. And the noise is not bad at all. This is another win for Vornado!
In general I love Vornado fans. I have 2 of the standard models in my home. So I decided to buy this small tower version for my office. It is the perfect size and has 4 different speed settings. The highest speed produces a steady white noise that I like. The major issue is with the button that turns the fan on and moves through the various speeds. It beeps each and every time. If you want it on the highest speed when you turn it on, that's one beep. Want to go to the lowest speed? That's 3 more beeps. And the beeping is fairly loud. It is not conducive for any type of environment where that would be a problem. When I am on a call at work and want to change the speed, everybody on the phone hears it. I cannot for the life of me understand why they found it necessary to have this feature. At the very least, it needs to be turned down.
I have one of these on my home office desk, and another one on my bedside table. I like them because they produce a good range of airflows (4 speeds) and they are quiet. They are pretty quiet and full speed, and at the lowest speed they are nearly silent - unlike some fans that get noisier when you turn them down.
I like this fan and it does push a lot of air. I can feel the air across the room. The only issue I have is that it is noisy in the vertical position. If I lay it horizontally, it is very quiet even on high speed, but that is not the case with the vertical position.

Nice compact size, and looks sleek. I love that you can stand it up or lay or down and angle the air stream.
Would have given it five stars but it is sometimes slightly noisy, especially at high speed. I run it at a lower speed or change the angle and the noise subsides. Thought about returning it because it was pricy for a small room fan, but I like the look and you can place it randomly and it seems to fit anywhere. May even buy another at some point.
I absolutely LOVE this fan for my menopause. There are 4settings of speed and the lowest two are very quiet for me to get a good night's rest!
It also stands two ways - Nice design!
For a small fan, it works well for just moving the air in a small space.
This thing will move some air !!
Purchased this little wonder to divert hot air away from the fireplace mantle. It works perfectly along with being quiet and very unobtrusive (sits to R of TV).
