I haven't had this for more than 4 months, so I can't talk about how long it lasts (from my experience, humidifiers last about 1 year).
BUT, I honestly don't care because the stars it displays on the ceiling are amazing! We turn them on for my 4 year old son every night (without the humidifier part) and he just watches them until he falls asleep. It's super relaxing watching the changing stars. Sometimes, I just lay here watching them.
They're also a perfect brightness. Light enough to be a pseudo night light, but not enough to alert him all night.
Well my husband loves this humidifier even though it was intended for the nursery lol. I guess the Starry night display did it for him. It outputs good mist and keeps my husband's nose from drying out. I also noticed that he snores less. The starry night display is beautiful and keeps our son entertained until he is asleep. He currently sleeps in our bedroom so my husband and him share the humidifier. Definitely recommend!
This is a great humidifier! We have 2 others just like it! Our kids love the star projection in their rooms, and it it super easy to fill! The filters are also super common/easy to find. Love that it has a sleep mode that is not quite as loud or a higher power mode that is great for when they are sick. Would definitely recommend this product!
Our first one worked great for 3 years. It started making weird noises, which weren't helped by my husband hitting it... it still worked but started getting loud. So we bought another.
Easy to fill, the stars are cute, we like being able to add Vicks when the kid is sick.
I bought this for our little one so his nose wasn’t always so dry. I sleep with him on the couch in the living room for most of the week letting my SO sleep. We love the night light, and the humidifier works the whole room. It’s perfect and I give it 10/10

Fan in one of mine went out kind of fast. Could be easier to clean bottom reservoir of water without spilling it. Wish the filter didn't have to have so much attention.
I do love this product though. Projection is awesome, fan settings are great and love the vicks inserts. I have one of these in each of my daughters rooms.
I use it every night in my sons room (2 -1/2years old) and he loves it!! The stars show up great on his ceiling and he never wakes up with a dry crusty nose or a cough from dry heat. It’s Easy to fill and convenient to refill. I have only had it for a month so I haven’t cleaned it yet but it looks like it would be easy to clean- no tight spaces. It even has a sleep mode and a 24hr timer
This is my second one. We broke our first one (dropped in during our move). I love the two options for air and the ability to shut off the lights even with air blowing. My daughter has had some breathing issues but this Humidifier helps her a lot. I highly recommend.
This is our third Starry Night Humidifier. We had to have one for my second son and a new one for my older (he managed to break the other one...not the fault of the product though). They love the way it display a nightscape on the ceiling in different colors. Great little humidifier!
This is the second one we bought because we liked the one we got my daughter so much. The projection is fun and I like that I can add the scent pad in front of the fan. Essential oil tip...Get the thick felt and cut it to the size of the vapor pad sample that comes with the humidifier. Then you can put essential oils on the pad and reuse it over and over.
