I bought this to use at my desk, in my home office. The instructions were a little unclear but after watching the video on Amazon I figured out the settings. As long as there is water in it it directs a nice jet of cook air right at me while I am working. Not a whole house or whole room cooler but better than a desk fan that just blows air around. Have to remember to fill up the water tank every couple of hours. Price is a little high for what it is, but if it works all summer the savings in energy will make up for it.
I bought this for my desk at my working room. I just need a compact mini fan, but this does a better job. Putting water or ice into the water tray, then the wind will feel like several degrees lower. I don't use the color led, but it's another function someone may like. Also, timer is another convenient function although I don't use it at all.
It really can make cold wind, my son small room is very stuffy. Now I put this air conditioner at his desk to help cool down, but need to be close to the air conditioner about 2 feet, can’t be too far away from it,because it is just small air conditioner, he really like this air conditioner. There is also a led function, and now everything works fine, if there have a pink shell my daughter also wants this air conditioner 。
Although it's definitely not the greatest thing on earth, it does the job to cool you down. Just a precaution, it will not be able to cool your room. I personally don't find the built-in fan to be "loud" in any way (some of the 1-star reviewers are crazy). When I turned on the "Cooling" setting, It definitely kept me cool during a 80-degree night sleep (had to turn it off a couple of times because I began to freeze.) You can definitely take this anywhere, but of course, it has to be connected to an outlet (which ain't too much of a big deal). It lasts more than 2 hours with the cooling setting turned on at the first level of fan speed (which is normally the speed I use during the long hot nights), after that, you simply just refill it with ordinary tap water, and you're good to go for another 2 hours. As for leaks, There was a tiny bit of leakage (water drop the size of a dime and less) when I had the vents pointing at a downward angle when I have the cooling system turned on, but I never had a case of a huge amount of water coming out and leaking through the bottom of the machine. I've yet to clean it since I've been using it for about 2 weeks now and I haven't seen any mold or dirt being built inside. Overall, this little machine is worth it.

My son very like this cooler fans, it is small and cute.
It’s small than I expected, but multi-functional. I like the cute size so that I can put it anywhere I want. Different from traditional fan, it not only gives me some wind but also cool moisture. My home AC works on removing the humidity but doesn't cool down the sun facing room during the day, so the room is hot dry air which is perfect for this little device, while it wont cool down the whole room, it does cool down my personal space, better than a fan that just blows warm air around the room, this actually blows very cool air. I put ice-cold water in this little machine and the air is quite cool that comes out.

After seeing and experiencing this mini desk air conditioner in my friends dorm, I decided to purchase one for my own dorm as well! Very glad that I did, summer here on my campus is really crazy and this desk air conditioner really makes it a lot more manageable especially when I’m spending a lot of time in my room at my desk. It can simply be a regular mini fan, or if you had water at the bottom, it becomes quite cold! It also has options for staying on just 2hrs or 4hrs or you could just have it on as long as you like. I love it and it even has a cute handle at the top making it easy to carry and move around. It’s also very quiet and not disturbing at all, also because it isn’t too big it doesn’t take up a lot of room and easy to move around especially when moving dorms! Perfect if you’re simply looking for something that could be put on your desk to chill you off!
I love how it’s small and can be carried around easily. We have an all around air conditioning in our house and it can get pretty expensive when we turn it on often. So I decided to buy this to try. It works great! I like it a lot. It doesn’t cool down the room whole lot but it makes the room stay cool !
