We have a variety of HVACs (mostly or exclusively Chigo) here, so you can imagine the various amounts of remote controls floating around that have the potential to get lost. This particular remote worked perfectly when someone had the heat cranked up to 25° C for an newer/unusual brand of Chigo, and the remote is nowhere to be found (some heat Nazi probably has it in their desk drawer). 25° C of heat is completely unreasonable. This is winter! It's supposed to be on the cool side. That's why you (not me) dress warmly. If you're still cold, you should really wear an extra pair of panties and a heavier (winter) dress with your combat boots to keep warm.
But, I digress.
So, with this remote, switched it to air con mode instead of heat. Now it's comfortable, and they don't know the difference, as the display on the Chigo HVAC still says 25° C.
Anyways, it came with batteries (nice touch!), and is really a nice HVAC remote for the price. Looks pretty slick, easy to program, and fits covertly in your back pocket for stealthy temperature changes.
This remote solved all my problems with my ductless Carrier mini split. I live on St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands and the product arrived in record time. The code instructions were clear and we were back up and running in less than 5 minutes. Thanks!

We have a SHINCO mini split, you CANNOT buy replacement anything for this brand, and my daughter gave the already tired old one in coffee and milk. The second code worked my remote thermostat!!! I didn't think it would work since the machine is so out dated.
Inexpensive replacement for our Mitsubishi a/c. I had to YouTube the instructions to learn that once the unit beeps that u have to go backwards one time to set the code.
I don't like that it only allows for settings of even numbered temps, so if u want to set it on 67, 69, or 71, ur out of luck. But for the price I can live with it.
Took trying a few of the codes to find one that worked. But now it does, thanks
Worked with factory code (001) on old Mitsubishi "Mr. Slim" unit. Better than original unit what it can do.
I love that it has the current room temp on the display, as well as the fact that it light up when you hit a button... great for mid-night temp adjustments.
