I really like this fan. It works off of the 18650 lithium batteries that I have happen to have a drawer full of. I buy these batteries in bulk and sell them on eBay. This fan is equipped with a brushless motor that is quieter and last longer on run times. This fan is nothing but a oversized o2 deluxe necklace fan and puts out more air and gives you the choice to choose a speed for your contort. I never wear these types of fans, as I just hold it in my hand. It is well made and the company who makes this fan also makes my desk and USB charging floor fan. I have an external microprocessor control charger for these 18650 batteries that does a better job of topping off and fully getting them to the proper amount of current. You can one of these soshine chargers on here or eBay. They also power my Bluetooth speakers and other fans. When I take this this fan on vacation, I bring 2 extra batteries with me for all day use. If I am near an outlet, I charge one as I use the other and swap them out when the battery needs charging. This fan is perfect. I never have to use the other higher settings. Low blows enough for me. The only thing I wish it could of have on it is a kickstand to aim the air at you when setting on a table top. This is a great fan and will give many hours of cooling that is more than the o2 cool fan. Some have said the o2 cool fan is weak on air output. This fan will not disappoint you. I highly recommend it. It you are very active or move around a lot when wearing it, it might be slightly big. Like I said, I never wear necklace fans, so I can not tell you if it is comfortable to wear. Thanks for reading review and hope it was informative.
Great fan. I modified mine to take button top 18650 and flat top by crushing the positive end terminal. I also used paracord and strip stops instead of the neck strap it came with for better adjustability. A bit bulky compared to the smaller double A battery neck fan but you cannot compare the power this has. It is lightweight but fragile so try not to drop it. don't forget to use a brush or compressed air to clean the inside.
My wife I both got one of these and used them in Disney World in some serious heat. We were still hot and sweaty, but this definitely helped. I don’t reccomend running this on full speed as that will kill the battery noticibly faster. Worked great though and made the heat a bit more bearable. Also was able to recharge the fan with my rechargeable battery pack I have for my phone.
It's not the most attractive fan, nor is it discreet. However it serves it's purpose. I suffer from severe hot flashes and I carry this around with me for that reason. It holds a battery charge for a number of days with periodic use. I'm not sure how long the charge lasts because my use is not continuous. I turn it on a couple times an hour throughout the day for about 5 minutes each time...long enough to cool off when I have a hot flash. I can go 3-4 days on one charge. The blower has 3 speeds and I find that the middle speed is fine for my purpose.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this. I live on the Space Coast of Central FL and go to Disney ALL the time which wouldn't be possible in the HOT HOT HOT summers without this. I LOVE the 3 speeds and ESPECIALLY that it's rechargeable. I don't go through batteriest like I did with the $5 one speed one I got from Walmart. I tell everybody who will listen about this product. I bought two and both work GREAT! I have to say though. Be careful with the battery back cover, it likes to fall off easy. Make sure you snap it in good. The thing that goes around your neck is a little long but nothing a little knotting doesn't fix. This item is worth it's weight in gold. I promise that you WON'T be disappointed. Oh. I also went to a battery place and bought extra batteries b/c if you have it on high, it won't last you all day. I have 2 extra batteries for both. They were too expensive and soooo worht it if your spending a hot summer day at the Disney parks.

A little larger than expected but manageable. The neck strap is "ok" but for hot weather would be better as a slightly wider mesh strap, to allow the neck to breath instead of sweat underneath the strap, and to spread out the weight of the fan a little more. It's not very heavy, and after a while you get used to it and can forget it's there, but it's just enough concentrated weight on the neck strap that you notice it for a while, and can be mildly annoying until you adjust. 1 star off for the somewhat uncomfortable strap. I'm looking for a more comfortable neck strap for this now.
Otherwise it's a good product. I highly suggest buying a 18650b Panasonic battery for this if you run down the battery too soon. Note these aren't standard AA style batteries. They require a special charger, or you can charge it in the fan itself. The Panasonic 18650b's run longer than the default battery that comes with the fan, but the default battery lasts a decent amount of time.
My new best friend. I purchased this fan to dry ink in my artwork. But I find I am using it more as a personal cooling device than my intended purpose. The 3 speeds allow me to select from a gentle amount of air to a surprising blast of air for a quick cool down.
Some reviews said they couldn't figure out how to attach the neck strap... but the plastic piece at the end is a snap that can be disengaged in order to slide the snap through the loop as shown in the product photo.
I have had this fan about a month. I use it for a short time nearly every day and haven't had to recharge the battery. But I have a charger and spare batteries so runtime wasn't really a concern when I chose this fan over similar products. It costs a little more than other fans I considered but I feel I made the right choice. Being rechargeable and using batteries that I already had was a huge factor in my decision to pay a little more. The plastic is sturdy enough but probably wouldn't survive a fall to concrete.
First of all, here in FL it is hot. Always. This thing puts out a pretty decent amount of air and people can feel it 4ft away if you point it at them on high. It definitely will help when you are sweating. I've had mine for at least a year now and use it when I help unload containers at work and on the weekends when I'm outside as well as a secondary feature that pretty much makes this a keeper alone.... a super easy small fan to cool electronics while I test on the bench or outside.
This thing will take forever to charge the stock 18650 (which is a good thing, slow charge is better in the long run) via USB but will blow for a few hours on level 2/3 for me. Make sure you have an extra battery if you need it all day, but you shouldn't need more than 2 for a full day. On level 1 the sound is pretty low and not bad around the neck. 2 is about perfect but the noise is a bit louder. 3 is pretty loud but the output is great.
TLDR: If you are even looking at something like this go ahead and get it. USB charged, 18650, powerful fan. You will look like a dork of course but at least you will be the coolest dork :)
I got this to replace a similar personal fan from a competitor hoping to get better power. I was not disappointed! This fan is powerful with a wider blade that really pushes a lot of air. There are three settings depending on your need... I often use just the lowest setting which is better than the competitors throughput. It is rechargeable and the charge lasts several hours at least. I have it in my backpack for work as it is super convenient. It has a lanyard to hang it around your neck and a usb type chord to charge it.
